Majority of our patterns and problems are unconscious to us until they are brought to our attention. Through strategic questioning we are able to highlight your coping strategies and support you to understand "how" you come to the conclusions and choices that you do. The goal is to offer and create the opportunity for you you to build the skills to sustain more helpful strategies, responses and choices in times of discomfort, challenge or change, in all areas of life.


This form of therapy focuses on separating you from your past, to instead focus on where you are now and developing tailored strategies to get you to where you want to be, through utilising and highlighting skills found within your presenting experiences.

    Yes! Anxiety is a co-morbid experience to majority of our presenting problems in life. Coaching & Strategic psychotherapy helps you to understand your unconscious processes that lead to increased feelings of anxiety, through identifying what we call your “skills gaps” we introduce specific strategies to help you manage the key experiential gaps that lead to consistent feelings of anxiety. These skills are targeted to show you just how much true control you have over your emotions, feelings and experiences. Anxiety can’t exist without you, but you can exist without anxiety.

  • how often should I have a coaching session?

    Consistency is key for change, our sessions focus on a strategic type approach that aims to support you to create long lasting change. The aim is 6-8 consistent sessions to see profound changes and to receive the full benefit of sessions, with the option to come and go as you please once scheduled sessions are completed.

  • what should i expect to feel from a Strategic coaching session?

    To see the true benefit of sessions we recommend 4-6 sessions, with follow ups when needed. Each individual experiences personal changes specific to what they are focusing on, however the most common experiences from sessions are a greater sense of self acceptance, clarity, self belief, confidence and content.

  • do you have availability for teens?

    Yes we surely do! Sammie has a Strategic Mindfulness offering that supports teen clients around their emotional well-being; targeting techniques to help with generalised anxiety, body image, restrictive or emotional eating tendencies, school/study, friendships and over-all emotional well-being.
